Management
David B. McLane, Founder and Manager of the TCP series, understands the need for new approaches and innovations to strategic marketing. McLane has extensive experience in identifying, packaging and producing uniquely targeted niche entertainment properties. With an in-depth understanding of television, licensing and building sponsorship alliances that elevate new brands, McLane has a proven track record of successful sales and marketing leadership that has resulted in a 15-year relationship with ESPN.
Recognizing that a niche market existed for providing luxury marketers an opportunity to reach affluent consumers, McLane recently teamed again with ESPN to develop strategic partnerships to reach elite target demographic with the creation of the Triple Crown of Polo (TCP) lifestyle sports series (www.triplecrownofpolo.com).
As an insider in the sport of polo, McLane leads the most aggressive marketing campaign for the sport with an initiative to grow the sport on all fronts. McLane’s contribution has been integral in creating the first unified series in polo that combines the efforts of several of polo clubs with worldwide television coverage. Knowing polo needs streamlined advertising and sponsorship opportunities, McLane’s actions are designed with one goal in mind – bring greater value to all of polo’s constituents: associated polo governing bodies, clubs, players, fans and sponsors.
Mr. McLane is a native of Indianapolis, graduate of Indiana University and resides in Los Angeles.
