With the bravado no less than Willis Reed's famous limp onto the 1970 NBA Championship court in Madison Square Garden, CMC Commercial Realty Group (CMC) patron, Jesse Pruitt overcame the obstacles of intestinal flu and a chronic knee injury in need of replacement to lead his team to victory Sunday, June 26th at the Las Colinas Polo Field for the inaugural Dallas leg of the Triple Crown of Polo.

Although the Henry S. Miller team kept the score close throughout the first four chukkers, CMC pulled away in the final two chukkers to win by a score of 13-8.
The action was fast and furious as one horse from the Team Miller was injured; requiring stoppage of the game to ambulatory the horse from the field of play. The contest featured two arch business and polo rivals in Jesse Pruitt from CMC Realty and Vaughn Miller from Henry S. Miller Commercial Realty. Miller, is widely known as one of the best mounted patrons and with a very aggressive physical style of play. However, his team couldn't stop CMC's seamlessly flawless attack in the final two chukkers.
Playing with Miller for his team was veteran polo star Oscar Bermudez and Eloy Escapita Palon both from Mexico and Kris Kampsen from Tampa, Florida. Pruitt's champion CMC team included game MVP, Bill Mudra from Naperville, Illinois, Francisco Bilboa from Argentina, Brent Mirikitani from Hawaii and Mason Wroe from Midland, Texas who is a second generation polo player currently playing on the Texas A&M polo team.

"It is the best game we've ever played as a team. All of our plays seemed to work," Jessie Pruitt stated to the ESPN cameras immediately following the trophy presentation.
